Bridal bouquet in progress. Teardrop shaped bridal bouquet of deep blue hydrangeas from Holland and hybrid blue delphinium, white Tibet roses. Erin brought us her choice if sparkly brooches which have been wired and placed into her bouquet. To the cooler now awaiting last minute application of hand wired cymbidium orchids and a luxurious satin ribbon wrap. While we thoroughly enjoy creating your dream day from concept to delivery and personally setting up our designs and watching them take shape, we are also open to new and exciting ways of making your wedding dreams come true.
Austin financial planner, Crystal Herrington, has requested our expertise in putting together what we have dubbed a “Wedding-in-a-Box” for her Twin Creeks Country Club ceremony in Cedar Park. This is a fun and hands-on personal flower project in which we will provide pre-designed flower bouquet holders and have calculated the stems needed to complete them. Crystal’s bridesmaids have volunteered to pick up the pre-packaged materials and instructions to complete their bouquets and the gentlemen’s boutonnieres. (Crystal only trusted her bridal bouquet to us to complete, but we are confident her bridesmaids can accomplish the rest!) They will simply wet the bouquet holders and insert the ornate blooms into our individually designed bridesmaids’ bouquet holders. To make Crystal’s helpers look like pros, we have prepared the bouquet holders and custom-wrapped the handles with charcoal satin ribbon and added rhinestone flourishes. The bride’s bouquet handle is wrapped with stately ivory satin ribbon with a vintage lace applique and rhinestone details. Crystal’s beautiful bridal bouquet will be personally designed and completed by Brenda and will feature white ‘Patience’ David Austin garden roses, white ‘Tibet’ roses and ‘Snowflake’ spray roses. Here at Brenda Abbott Floral Design, we do more than just flowers! We design, build and deliver wedding day wishes, and with Autumn upon us, love and wedding dreams are definitely in the air!
Nuptials for Courtney Mullen, from the Smithville area, will held be at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa’s gorgeous Riverside Amphitheater, which offers guests a wonderful view of the cool green Colorado River and its tree-lined banks. To further accentuate the event’s natural harmony, Courtney has selected one of our many custom structures to adorn the altar. The natural crepe myrtle and driftwood arch will perfectly frame the Colorado as it winds its way through the lush natural backdrop of western Bastrop. To see more of our ever-growing collection of elegant props and staging structures for your special day, please visit our showroom for a personal tour. A wedding is an intimate, personal affair that should reflect the bride’s disposition as well as her charm.
Kristi White, from Hutto, is all about class, with a coy wink toward the lure of sparkle and bling. For her big day at Georgetown’s Gabriel Springs, Kristi has chosen a classic black-and-white wedding palette, a timeless design steeped in elegant tradition. In a true tip of the cap to the man of her dreams, Kristi has selected our Dreamy Structure, draped in soft, flowing white satin fabric to frame her nuptials, and our 4-foot shimmering crystal chandelier to illuminate her love of friends and family on the dance floor. Kristi’s vision of clean lines, with lots of bling, will utilize luxurious white Ecuadorian roses, hydrangeas and white phalaenopsis orchids from California, a stunning nod to a Classic Hollywood affair. Here at Brenda Abbott Floral Design, we understand that each wedding lends itself to a unique atmosphere. As such, we work directly with our bride to determine what best suits her personality, vision, style and budget for her big day.
The ceremony for Erin Cooksey, from Bastrop, will be held at Kyle’s Texas Old Town - Sage Hall, an elegant, rustic locale that calls for a minimal amount of flourish to complement its classic Texas ambiance. With an eye toward elegance in its simplest form, we will be designing Erin’s personal flowers, including both the bridal bouquet and those of the bridesmaids as well. In addition, Erin has smartly chosen to add our cascading crystals and elegant rose spheres to the venue’s existing pergola structure in order to enhance the aura of romance and intrigue. |
