February's birth flower is the violet which, according to The Farmers Almanac, signifies loyalty and faithfulness. Give a violet to someone to let them know you will always be there for them. Another February favorite is the primrose, which is the perfect way to let that special somebody know you can't live without them. Many of our brides have incorporated some variation of the color purple as a testament of their devotion to each other. Violet picture courtesy of bhg.com

Our latest couple traveled all the way from Southern California to experience Bastrop's breathtaking natural beauty. The custom designed garland, accented with garden roses, hydrangeas, peach dahlia and more, adorned the property's rustic stage. It was such a perfect afternoon for this special couple to promise their love to one another. Cupid is synonymous with love and romance since ancient times. It originated from the Latin word cupido, which means desire. The ancient Romans considered cupid as the God of love. Cupid is generally shown as a naked boy with wings, bows and arrows. And even today he is considered the supreme lord of the lovebirds all around the world. On Valentines Day cupid with its bows and arrows assumes greater significance on account of its deep association with love and romance. Trivia courtesy of www.everythingvalentinesday.com.
